Rates
My rates are in line with those current in the area. When you send me details of your requirements I'll get back to you promptly with a quotation.
In general the hourly rate will be a little lower for longer sessions/bookings close to home, and a little higher for shorter sessions and/or where more travelling is involved.
Since I work freelance rather than through a GP locum agency the cost to you will be less - users of locum agencies pay commission to the locum agency on top of paying the locum's fee!
Superannuation
There are no extra charges for superannuation. The fee you pay is precisely the fee on my quotation.
Whilst I am self-employed, I remain a member of the NHS Superannuation Scheme and pay my own employees contribution out of the fees that you pay me. Under standard arrangements with the NHS Pensions Agency my host PCT (Bury), NOT you the employing practice, pay the employers contribution, and thus no charges fall on you.
